Youth Enrichment

After school enrichment programs give keiki opportunities to explore interests beyond the classroom, whether in sports, arts, music, tutoring, or unique activities like horseback riding or marine science. These experiences can spark lifelong passions and even future careers. Beyond new hobbies, keiki gain skills in goal setting, perseverance, and confidence as they work toward achievements and celebrate progress. Most importantly, they learn and grow while having fun.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

After school programs give keiki a safe, supervised place to learn and play while parents finish the workday. Activities vary by location and may include sports, homework help, arts and crafts, dance, or swim classes. These programs provide meaningful learning and social time for children, and peace of mind for parents knowing their keiki are cared for and engaged.

ATLETHICS

With Hawai‘i’s year round climate, sports are a popular choice for families. Beyond learning the game, keiki gain discipline, hard work and healthy habits. Team sports like volleyball foster camaraderie, while individual options such as swimming let children build skills without competitive pressure. Athletics promote strength, stamina, flexibility and agility, often paired with guidance on healthy eating, helping keiki grow strong while having fun.

THE ARTS

Many children are drawn to the arts through music, dance, theater or visual expression. Music stimulates brain areas tied to reading, math and emotional growth, while also teaching multitasking as keiki manage fine motor skills, breath, and rhythm. Dance blends physical activity with musicality, building flexibility, strength, discipline and confidence through practice and performance. Whether through an instrument, stage or studio, the arts encourage creativity, problem solving and self expression—giving children pride in their accomplishments and space to let their imaginations grow.

Tutoring can help keiki catch up, stay on track or move ahead. Whether for remedial support, advanced challenges or test preparation, tutors provide personalized instruction in one on one or small group settings. This builds confidence, eases frustration at home and creates a positive connection to learning. Beyond core subjects, families may also explore foreign languages since early exposure makes new languages easier to learn and pronounce, and many centers make the process fun and engaging.
